Mr. and Mrs. Dursley, of number four, Privet Drive, were proud to say that they were perfectly normal, thank you very much.

Mr. Dursley was the director of a firm called Grunnings, which made drills. A man appeared on the corner the cat had been watching, appeared so suddenly and silently you'd have thought he'd just popped out of the ground.

He was wearing long robes,a purple cloak that swept the ground, and high-heeled, buckled boots.This man's name was Albus Dumbledore.

"Fancy seeing you here, Professor McGonagall."

"My dear Professor, I 've never seen a cat sit so stiffly."

"You'd be stiff if you'd been sitting on a brick wall all day," said Professor McGonagall.
