ce, cette - this or that (cet + 元音开头的阳性名词); ces - these or those

Combien                 ce manteau? How much is this/that coat?

Comment                cette entreprise? What’s this/that company called?

Ces livres sont passionnants. These/Those books are exciting.

J'ai horreur de ce genre/type de                     . I hate this/that sort of music. (avoir horreur de qch - to hate sth)

Les lecteurs aiment bien cette histoire d'amour. Readers love this/that love story a lot.

n.A + de + n.B (n.B对n.A起到修饰限定作用)

une histoire d'amour (a story of love) -

指示形容词常搭配表示时间的单位名词

ce matin - this/that morning

ce jour - this/that day

ces jours - these/those days

ce mois - this/that month

en ce moment - at this/that/the moment

cet été - this/that summer

cet après-midi - this/that afternoon

cette semaine - this/that week

cette année - this/that year

à cette époque de l'année - at this/that time of the year

ces derniers jours - these last days, lately

大家可能会发现，英语的this and that, these and those在法语中常常都翻译成ce, cette, ces, 怎么用一个词就能代表呢？明明this离得近，that离得远一些呀？如果你需要强调这个远近的区别，法语只能靠加后缀来实现，这点比英语复杂一些。

后缀-ci表示物体较近 (emphasizeproximityin space or time)

Prends cette valise-ci. Take this suitcase.

Prends ces chaussures-ci. Take these shoes.

ce jour-ci - this day

cette rivière-ci - this river

à cette heure-ci la semaine dernière - (at) this time last week

à cette heure-ci la semaine prochaine - (at) this time next week

后缀-là表示物体较远 (emphasizedistancein space or time)

ce jour-là - that day

ce samedi-là - that Saturday

cette nuit-là - that night

à ce moment-là / à cet instant-là - at that moment

à cette époque-là - at that time, back then

en ce temps-là - at that time, in those days

Est-ce que tu reconnais (inf. reconnaître) cette personne-là ? Do you recognize that person?

Elle ne peut (inf. pouvoir) pas tolérer cet homme-là. She can't stand that man.

Cet homme-là, elle ne peut pas le tolérer (inf. tolérer - to tolerate, to stand). That man, she can't stand him.

Ce mec-là, tu le connais ? That guy, you know him?  (savoir, connaître - to know)

-ci & -là 可以同时出现，用于对比远近的两物

Vous préférez cette robe-ci ou cette robe-là ? Do you prefer this dress or that dress?

J'aime mieux cette photo-ci que cette photo-là. I like this photo better than that one.

-ci, -là 还出现在 ici - here, là - there, là-bas - over there, voici - here is/are, voilà - there is/are 这些词语当中，可以用来表示物体的远近。ici & là, voici & voilà 在现代法语中可以混用，而且là, voilà使用更加频繁

Voici/Voilà ma soeur et mon frère. This is my sister and my brother.  (voici, voilà可以代替 c'est, ce sont)

Voilà ma chambre. This is my room.

Voilà ton livre. Here is your book.

Voici comment faire. This is how to do it.

Attention, le/la voilà! Watch out, here he/she comes!

Pose-le là. Put it here/there. (inf. poser - put down)

Je n'aime pas les toiles qui sont là-bas. I don't like those paintings over there.

Il est là maintenant. He's here now.

(打电话) Allô? Bonjour, ici Didier. Hello? This is Didier speaking.

(打电话) Allô? Est-ce que Sophie est là? Non, elle n'est pas là. Hello? Is Sophie there? No, she's not here.

英语this/that作副词时如何翻译

The concert isn't all that good. Le concert n'est pas très bon. (可以不翻译)

It's about this wide. C'est à peu prèslarge comme ça (wide like this).

It's not all that good for me. Pour moi, ce n'est passi bien que ça (so good than that).

I didn't know (that) it was that simple. Je ne savais pas que c'étaitaussi simple que ça (as simple as that).
