Sherry Wang是ABC公司在中国的市场营销经理，也就是Marketing manager;Tom Smith是ABC公司总部的新技术总监，the director of the new technology group. Sherry 负责去机场接未曾谋面的Tom Smith参加在北京举办的技术研讨会。

Sherry Wang:Good morning,are you Tom Smith?

Tom Smith:Yes,and...

Sherry Wang:Welcome to Beijing, Mr.Smith. I'm Sherry Wang, the marketing manager based in Beijing and I am in charge of this X-tech seminar. This is my business card, please call me Sherry.

Tom Smith:Oh, nice to meet you, Sherry.

Sherry Wang:Nice to meet you, too. How was the flight?

Tom Smith:It was OK, though I feel a bit tired.

Sherry Wang:Would you like me to help you with the luggage?

Tom Smith:Oh, thank you.

Sherry Wang:Please follow me to the gate. The company car is waiting for you  outside.

知识要点总结

（1）用上午好、下午好等正式的问候代替“Hi”“Hello”，如，good morning。

（2）介绍自己或确认对方姓名时使用全名，并介绍自己的职务和此行的身份。如:I am Sherry Wang, the marketing manager based in Beijing。

（3）称呼对方用尊称，如Mr.Smith，若知其职务，也可在称呼中加入其职务，如President Smith。

（4）别忘了标准的问候用语：Nice to meet you。有些小变化，可以用It's my pleasure to meet you。

（5）若时间不紧迫，可随机应变问问对方当前的感受，比如接机问问飞机旅程是否OK。

（6）保持用语的礼貌、恭敬，但也要不卑不亢。
