《生如夏花》（Let life be beautiful like summer flowers ）是泰戈尔写的诗歌，收录在《飞鸟集》中。诗歌语言清丽，意味隽永，将抒情和哲思完美结合，给人以无尽美感和启迪。

英文原文是:"Let life be beautiful like summer flowers And Death like autumn leaves." 郑振铎译为“使生如夏花之绚烂，死如秋叶之静美”。

寓意：

生命要像夏季的花朵那般绚烂夺目，努力去盛开，可除了生命中的美丽，人生也难免会有不完美的地方和不如意的结局，即使是悲伤如死亡，淡然的看待，就像秋叶般静美地接受所有的结局，最美的我已尽力去争取经历过了，那便没有遗憾了。

任凭东走西顾
逝去的必然不返

See, 
I wear Zan Flowers 
on my head, 
in full bloom
along the way all the way
请看我头置簪花
一路走来一路盛开

Frequently missed some, 
but also deeply moved
by wind, frost,snow or rain
频频遗漏一些
又深陷风霜雨雪的感动
