Young people's IQ scores have started to deteriorate after climbing steadily since World War II, a new study has found. 
一项新研究发现，二战以后，年轻人的智商成绩在经历稳步上升的阶段后已开始下降。

The fall, which equates to about seven points per generation, is believed to have begun with those born in 1975, according to the first authoritative study of the phenomenon. 
首项针对该现象的权威研究显示，智力下降据信是从1975年出生的那代人开始的，相当于平均每代人智商成绩约下降7分。

Scientists have described the results as "impressive" but "pretty worrying", according to the Times. The decline is to do with a difference in the way languages and math are taught in schools, scientists have suggested. 
据《泰晤士报》报道，科学家称研究结果"令人震撼"，但也"相当令人担忧"。科学家指出，智力下降与学校教授语言和数学的方法发生改变有关。

However, it could also be down to people spending more time on technological devices instead of reading books.

Anzhelika Protodyakonova, a young fashion blogger from Russia, shot to social media flame after photos of her huge eyebrows, which cover most of her forehead, went viral on the internet. 
来自俄罗斯的年轻时尚博主Anzhelika Protodyakonova因其粗大、能盖住大部分额头的眉毛的照片走红网络后，又火遍社交媒体。

Seven years ago, while riding on a bus in Yakutsk, Russia's Sakha Republic, Anzhelika drew the attention of another passenger who just couldn't take her eyes off her unusually large eyebrows. The woman took a photo of her and posted it online, where it quickly went viral.
7年前，Anzhelika在俄罗斯萨哈共和国雅库茨克市乘车时，吸引了一位女性乘客的注意。这位乘客实在无法将视线从Anzhelika非比寻常的粗眉上移开，于是拍下Anzhelika的照片并将其发到网上。这张照片迅速走红网络。

Anzhelika soon became known as "Bushy Angie", and while she admits being embarrassed by the photo at first, the young girl quickly embraced her new-found popularity and even managed to make a living off of it.

UN launches 'Super Dads' web

UNICEF is launching a new web to encourage more "super dads" to join the early education of children, in which the United Nations Children's fund claims fathers' role cannot be ignored. 

为鼓励更多"超级爸爸"参与孩子的早期教育，近日联合国儿童基金会创建了一个新网页，并在网页上称父亲的角色不可忽视。

The Early Moments Matter web intends to give all parents and caregivers the opportunity to share their experiences and be inspired with new ways of supporting their children's development. 
"成长早期至关重要"网页旨在给所有父母和看护人分享育儿经验的机会，还能让他们受到支持儿童成长新方法的启发。

UNICEF launched the new parenting microbe as part of the "Super Dad" campaign, recognizing the important role of fathers in the early development of their children and calling for more support for fathers, including the adoption of policies that provide them with the resources they need to spend more time with their children. The new web has opened its service in English, Chinese, French, Spanish, and Arabic.
基金会新推出的这一微型育儿网页是"超级爸爸"活动的一部分，是对父亲在孩子早期发展中发挥重要作用的认可，也是号召给予父亲更多支持，包括采纳一些为他们提供其所需资源从而使其能花更多时间陪伴孩子的政策。这个新网页现已开通了英文、中文、法语、西班牙语、阿拉伯语版的服务。

NASA plans to explore Venus

A group of aerospace engineers in NASA has made a persuasive pitch for an unexpected space-exploration option: Venus. They point out that Venus is the closest, most accessible planet in the solar system. 

近日，美国国家航空航天局的一群航天工程师使令人意想不到的太空探索地金星变得极具说服力。他们指出，金星是太阳系中距离最近且最易登陆的行星。

It's nearly identical to Earth in size and mass, making it an excellent place to learn about the prospects for life on other Earth-like worlds. As Chris Jones, a mission analyst at NASA Langley and leader of the High-Altitude Venus Operational Concept team, says, "The atmosphere of Venus is one of the more hospitable locations in space." 

它的大小和质量几乎与地球一模一样，使其成为了解其他类地行星生命前景的绝佳地点。正如NASA兰利的任务分析师、高空金星操作设计团队负责人克里斯?琼斯所说，金星的大气层是太空中较适宜人类的地点之一。

The team has sketched out plans for and conducted small-scale tests of a blimp-like airship that would ferry a crew of two on a month-long expedition above the Venusian cloudtops.
