《偶尔读诗》－不要温和地走进那个良夜

Do Not Go Gentle into That Good Night是Dylan Thomas的代表作之一。尽管这位诗人英年早逝，但我们仍可以从此诗中感受到诗人面对“暮年”表现出的大无畏精神。其实，谁不怕老去，谁不畏惧生命的终止?然而谁又能阻止岁月匆匆的脚步?生命的意义并不在于其“长度”，而在于其“宽度”，当诗人用激昂的言语勉励他那无助而“温顺”的父亲，勉励每一位老去的人以及每一位终将老去的年轻人“暮年仍应燃烧咆哮”，“失明的眼可以像流星般闪耀，欢欣雀跃”时，你是否也对“流年”多了一分领悟?

Because their words had forked no lightning they
