北京:全国起床最早城市?

More than 60% of people born in 1990s donot get enough sleep, with those living in Beijing among those waking up earliest, a survey shows. Chinese Medical Doctor Association's sleep medicine specialized committee released the data from the lastest survey about sleeping patternsacross the world, before the 18th World Sleep Day on March 21.

一项调查显示，60%以上的90后睡眠不足，那些生活在北京的人起床最早。在3月21日第18个世界睡眠日到来之前，中国医师协会睡眠医学专业委员会发布了全球睡眠模式最新调查数据。

The survey on Chinese born in 1990s showed their average sleep time is 7.5 hours. 31.1% ofpost-90s people sleep late and wake up late, while 30.9% sleep late and wake upearly and only 17.5% sleep early and wake up early. Moreover, only 28.2% wakeup naturally. As a contrast to Beijing, Zhuhai is the city with the latest wake-up time.

对中国90后的调查显示，他们的平均睡眠时间为7.5小时。31.1%的90后晚睡晚起，30.9%的人晚睡早起，只有17.5%的人早睡早起。此外，只有28.2%的人能睡到自然醒。与北京恰好相反，珠海是起床最晚的城市。

Self-driving car leaves 1 dead  

优步无人驾驶致人死亡

A women died in a Uber self-driving caraccident in Tempein the US state of Arizona Monday morning. This is the first known fatality from an autonomous vehicle accident on a public road. The rideshare company is working with the police to investigate the fatal accident.

19日上午，在美国亚利桑那州坦佩市，一名女子死于优步自动驾驶汽车事故。这是首例自动驾驶车辆在公路上致人死亡的事件。优步公司正配合警方调查这起致命事故。

According to Tempe police, the victim was walking outside of the crosswalk when she was crashed bythe car, which was in autonomous mode at that time, but a vehicle operator wasbehind the wheel. 

坦佩警方表示，受害者被汽车撞倒时正走在人行横道外，当时这辆汽车处于自主模式，但车辆驾驶员在车上。

Uber has halted tests of its autonomous cars. "Our hearts go out to the victim's family," an Uber spokeswoman said in astatement. "We are fully cooperating with local authorities in their investigation of this incident."

优步已停止对其自动驾驶汽车的测试。优步发言人在一份声明中表示："我们的心与受害者的家人在一起。我们正与地方当局充分合作调查这起事件。"

Hooves Sandals a hit inJapan

Walpurgis, an Japanese online shop that seems to specialize in fantastic garments and accessories, recently startedselling wooden sandals that closely resemble cow hooves. Eventhough Hooves Sandals are not exactly cheap - 43,000 yens (about RMB2600) for each pair, the white and black versions are currently sold out. 

日本一家专营奇幻服饰的网店Walpurgis最近开始出售一款外形酷似牛蹄的木制凉鞋。虽然"蹄形凉鞋"不算便宜，每双售价4.3万日元(约合人民币2600元)，但目前白色和黑色织带款都已售罄。

The sandals are made up of a hoof-shaped platform and a wooden sole, and they can be fastened on to the lower leg of the wearer using colored fabric ribbon, but feature noheel support, which makes walking in them really difficult.

这款鞋由一个蹄形平台和一个木制鞋底组成，彩色织带可以将鞋子固定在穿着者的小腿上, 但因为完全没有鞋跟做支撑，所以走起路来非常困难。

Most-hated poses revealed

Selfies and hot dog legs have been revealed as being among the most annoying Instagram travel poses around, followed by loved-up couples kissing and the can did "looking away"shot, according to a survey. 

一项调查显示，自拍和热狗腿是最招人烦的Instagram旅游拍照姿势，热恋情侣亲吻的照片和看向别处的抓拍照片也同样让人不爽。

Other poses to get the thumbs down include people"pinching" the sunset, freeze jumping and walking away from the camera. It also found that opinions on what makes a good vacation snap vary from gender to age. Men are 20% less likely to be irritated than women by followees posting their "hot dog legs". 

其他招来恶评的摆拍姿势还包括人们"捏住"夕阳、定格跳跃瞬间和从镜头前走开。调查还发现，对于什么是好的度假照片，不同年龄和性别的人群有着不同的看法。不喜欢自己关注的人上传"热狗腿"照片的男性比女性可能要少20%。

The under-24s are five times(46%) more likely to be annoyed than 45-54s (9%) when seeing pictures of kissing couples. Snappers should think more about taking shots of wonderful landmarks, with followers most likely to hit the precious "like"button, such as Iceland's famous Blue Lagoon and the Duomo di Milano cathedral in Milan.

看到情侣亲吻照片，24岁以下的人(46%)比45-54岁的人(9%)更容易感到厌恶。拍照者应考虑多拍一些壮观地标，比如冰岛著名的蓝泻湖和位于米兰城的米兰大教堂，这种类型的照片最可能被关注者点赞。
