Penny the penguin loved the ice, but she wanted to learn to fly like the birds she saw in the sky. "Penguins can’t fly," the other penguins said. But Penny didn’t give up. She started flapping her wings and jumping off snowy hills. Though she couldn’t fly, she learned to slide on her belly down the snowy slopes and had so much fun! Penny realized that she didn’t need to fly to enjoy her special way of moving.
