The UK is facing the worst disorder it has seen in more than a decade, after outbreaks of far-right, anti-immigrant violence swept the country.

Protests first broke out after an anti-immigrant misinformation campaign stoked outrage over a stabbing attack that left three children dead in Southport, northern England.

Crowds of far-right agitators set fire to hotels housing asylum seekers, while throngs of rioters damaged public buildings and clashed with police.
