Gosh, is it really 36 years? That's scary. That's very scary. It didn't seem like 36years ago.

Harrison is an is an extremely generous and warmhearted person. That's the funny thing about actors: when you work together, you form some kind of familial bond that you never lose. And it was really more like seeing my brother when I saw him again.

The reality is we are older, and we've both been through everything that we've been through in that period of time. So we come back to each other with a sort of greater knowledge of life and sort of understanding about ourselves.

Prime Suspect was an important role for me, which was a TV series I did a long time ago. I played Elizabeth I and Elizabeth II in the same year, basically.

It was very interesting to to play those two iconic queens of my country, Britain, very close together, and realizing what incredible similarities they had between them of this absolute sense of destiny and totally embracing everything that went along with that destiny, which is not the case for all monarchs, you know.

That's terribly exciting. The first one for me. I wonder how many people will be taking her costume off to see what's underneath. That's the first thing I'd do, definitely.

My costume is very heavy. It was about £30, but fun. And to be wearing basically the costume of of a Roman gladiator, you know, it was super cool. I did quite a lot of the action myself. I still have the broken finger to show for my efforts.

I've lost my seriousness if you like. I'm much freer about it now. I also want to be moved and enlightened and inspired by the art of drama. But I also love entertainment, and I don't think I would have understood that really, 36 years ago when I was with Harrison the first time.
