The Night Before...
Frank and Mary were so excited. Why? It was Christmas Eve一almost time for Santa Claus to come.
“It's time for bed," said Dad. "You don't want to be late for bed tonight."
“But wait," said Mary.“We have to hang up our stockings!”
Mary pulled out four red stockings: one for Mom, one for Dad, one for Mary and one for Frank. Dad hung them by the fireplace.
“I think you're ready," said Mom. "You'd better get to bed.”
"But wait,” said Frank.“We have to frost the cookies and put them on a plate for Santa!" So, Frank and Mary frosted the cookies.
"I think you're ready now," said Dad.
"You'd better get to bed," said Mom again.
"But wait," said Mary. “We need to write Santa a note!" Mary wrote a note and placed it on the table beside the plate of cookies.
"Now we're ready," said Mary and Frank together.
Frank and Mary went to bed and waited for Santa Claus and Christmas morning.
