Warm-up question: What was your last speech about? How did it go?

Are you good at giving speeches? Public speaking is not just about speaking. It’s more about sharing ideas and communicating with people.What should you do, though?

Before the speech, you need to decide on one topic and fully understand it. Scripting helps you organize your ideas.To get people’s interest, begin your speech with a story or question. List your ideas with words like “firstly,” “what’s more,” and “finally.” This makes your speech sound organized.

Practice your speech several times before you give it. Speak in front of a mirror or record your voice. Good body language helps you look good.

你擅长演讲吗？公众演说不仅仅是讲话，更重要的是分享想法以及与人沟通。不过，你应该怎么做呢？

在演讲前，你需要定出一个主题并且充分理解它。打草稿可以帮助你组织你的想法。你可以用一个故事或问题作为演讲开头来引起人们的兴趣。用「首先」、「此外」和「最后」等词语来罗列出你的想法，这样你的演讲听起来会更有条理。

在正式演讲之前多练习几次，可以在镜子前练习或录下你的声音，良好的肢体语言有助于你看起来更专业。
