My Magic Hat Series Feb---Using AI as “Teachers’ Little Helper”

In this episode, we discussed how teachers can use artificial intelligence in their teaching practice to make some of their tasks more efficient and less time-consuming. We invited three professors from Xi’an Jiatong Liverpool University to discuss ways to use AI as an assistant that our listeners can easily try. Here are some of the topics we covered:

• Using AI to work with PG students who are developing their dissertation

• Using AI to take care of the lower-level tasks in our jobs so we can focus on building connections with students

• Writing rubrics with AI

• Modeling ethical uses of AI
