7   Laugh and Cry 笑和哭

People laugh,     有的人笑，

And people cry.   有的人哭。

Some give up,    有的人放弃，

Some always try.   有的人尝试。

Some say hi,        有人说“你好”，

While some say bye. 有人说“再见”。

Some may forget you,有人可能忘了你，

But never may I.     但我永远不会。

8    A Cat    一只猫

It’s a cat,           有一只猫，

Sitting on a mat,     蹲在垫子上，

Wearing a hat,       戴着帽，

And watching a rat.  盯着耗。

Look at the cat,      看看那只猫，

Look at the rat,     瞧瞧那只耗。

Oh, a cat is in the hat,猫在带沿帽里，

A rat is in the cap.    耗在棒球帽里

How can the cat catch the rat? 猫怎能逮住耗。

9   I 'm a Little Teapot 我是一只小茶壶

I’m a little teapot,        我是一只小茶壶，

Short and stout.         又矮又肥胖。

Here is my handle,       这是我的把手，

Here is my spout.         这是我的壶嘴

When I start to steam up, 当我开始冒蒸汽，

Then I start to shout.      我就开始大声叫。

Tip me over and pour me out,轻轻倾斜倒出水

I’m a little teapot.            我是一只小茶壶
