This is Peedie.

这是派蒂。

Peedie is a gosling.

派蒂是一只小鹅。

A small,yellow gosling who sometimes forgets things.

他是一只经常忘事的黄色小鹅。

Peedie forgets things.

派蒂经常忘事。

Even when Mama Goose reminds him.

即使他妈妈经常提醒他。

He forgets to come in out of the rain.

他忘了雨天要躲雨。

He forgets to eat all his food.

他忘了要把食物吃完。

He forgets to tidy his nest.

他忘了要整理自己的小窝。

He forgets to take a nap.

他忘了要午睡。

He forgets to turn the egg.

他忘了要转蛋。

But Peedie never forgets to wear his lucky red baseball cap.

但是派蒂从没忘记要戴上他幸运的红色棒球帽。

He wears it everywhere he goes.

无论去哪儿他都要戴着这顶帽子。

He wears it when he dives.

跳水的时候他戴着帽子。

He wears it when he slides.

滑倒的时候他戴着帽子。

He wears it when he explores.

探险的时候他戴着帽子。

He wears it when he snores.

打鼾的时候戴着帽子。

Peedie never forgets to wear his lucky red baseball cap.

派蒂从不会忘记戴上他幸运的红色棒球帽，

Everywhere he goes.

无论走到哪里。

Then one day Peedie put his lucky red baseball cap in a secret place.

有一天派蒂把他红色的幸运棒球帽藏在了一个隐秘的地方。

But he forgot where he put it.

但是他却忘记自己藏的地方。

He looked in the pond.

他在池塘里找过了。

He looked in the apples.

他在苹果堆里找过了。

He looked under the flower pot.

他在花盆底下找过了。

He looked in the tall grass.

他在高高的草丛里找过了。

But Peedie could not remember where he had put it.

但是派蒂怎么也想不起来自己把帽子放在哪里了。

"Did you forget to turn the egg?"

“你是不是忘了转蛋啦？”

Mama Goose asked.

鹅妈妈问道。

Peedie slowly trudged to the nest.

派蒂慢慢地走到小窝里。

His lucky red baseball cap was gone.

他幸运的红色棒球帽不见了。

Then he saw it.

然后他又看见了那顶帽子。

"There you are!"he said.

“你在这儿啊！”他说。

Peedie is a gosling.

派蒂是一只小鹅。
