如何用英语精准表达"装逼"？

1. Fronting 

Definition: Acting like you are more, or you have more than what really exists. 表现得很厉害，但实际上并不具备相应素质。

Example：

Stop fronting and just be yourself！不要再装逼了，做自己好吗！

2. Poser 

Definition: One who pretends to be someone who's not, mostly trying to blend into a group. 装作别人的人，多是为了融入某个群体。

Example：

I don't like her at all ! She is nothing but a poser! 我一点也不喜欢她，她太装逼了！

3. Pretentious 

Definition: claiming that or behaving as if one is important or deserving of merit when such is not the case. 宣称或表现自己很厉害的样子，然而这并不是事实；装腔作势。

Example：

The downside of being better than everyone else is that people tend to assume you are pretentious. 比别人都牛逼的缺点就是，人们倾向于认为你特装逼。

4. Affectation 

Definition: if you say that someone's attitude or behavior is an affectation, you disapprove of the fact that it is not genuine or natural, but is intended to impress other people. 矫揉造作，通过不真实不自然的举止言语来获取关注。

（注意，这个词要和Affection区分！Affection, n. 喜爱，感情）

Example： 

I wore sunglasses all the time and people thought it was an affectation. 我总是带太阳眼镜，但是人们却认为我在装逼。

5. Ostentatious 

Definition: if you describe someone as ostentatious, you disapprove of them because they want to impress people with their wealth or importance. 指人炫富或炫耀自己很牛逼。

例子的话通过下面的两张图片感受下吧：

（配图：三个包包上面分别写着：看看我这个超级炫富购物袋；显然我在巨贵的店子购物；我打赌你买不起这个。）

【总结】

以卖弄、做作获取虚荣心的自我满足甚至欺骗性质的行为，向别人表现出自己所不具备的气质。→Fronting（动名词）；Poser（名词）

装腔作势，举止腔调做作、不自然（为了获取注意力）→Pretentious（形容词）；affectation（名词）

炫耀→Show off（动词短语）；flaunt（动词）；ostentatious（形容词）
