Underlying motivations of ESG
Q:
Is there an element as well, because this stuff is probably wouldn't be politically popular that this is why I sort of worried that capitalism in the West is really defenseless against this stuff, because it feels very much like the corporations are the tools of the G, you know, in terms of the stakeholder capitalist model. That the corporations are being used by the G because G wouldn't be able to get to push this ideology through by themselves.
A:
Well, that's certainly true. I mean, we actually have instances on that we're on tape of President Joe Biden saying those things saying to corporations that we need you to do this because we can't do it as G.
The Twitter files exposed that they were working behind the scenes with social media companies to do things that the G can’t do in terms of censorship, and that's kind of coming out in country after country now, that the G's we're working with these large corporations to achieve what the G's cannot actually do to their people in free liberal societies. And so this, it's not quite correct to say that the corporations are defenseless against this. It's more that they've been co-opted is the logic that I see for how this is happening. And I don't think that this is mostly organic. I don't think this is an organic use movement that sprung up because of, you know, how kids talk to each other in some of the things that they've picked up at school or through entertainment. So that's a certainly a very important component. The corporations have been putting this on full blast propaganda campaign unlike anything the world has ever seen, for over a decade, maybe almost two decades now. Maybe longer. And the it's completely relentless and this is effected through this single or tool that I already mentioned.
