50年后日本总人口将减少到8700万人！

50年(ねん)後(ご)の日本(にほん)の総(そう)人口(じんこう)が、現在(げんざい)の7割(わり)ほどの8,700万(まん)人(にん)に減少(げんしょう)するとの推計(すいけい)が発表(はっぴょう)されました。

据推算，50年后日本的总人口将减少到现在的7成左右，即8,700万人。

It hasbeen estimated that the total population of Japan in 50 years' time willdecrease to 87 million, about 70% of the present population.

推計(すいけい)は、5年(ねん)ごとに公表(こうひょう)されていて、前回(ぜんかい)より人口(じんこう)減少(げんしょう)のペース(ぺーす)が緩(ゆる)やかになるとしています。

该推算每5年公布一次，与上次相比，人口减少的速度有所减缓。

 The estimate is released every five years, and the pace ofpopulation decline is expected to be slower than in the previous survey.

人口(じんこう)減少(げんしょう)のペース(ぺーす)が緩(ゆる)やかになるとされた背景(はいけい)には、外国人(がいこくじん)の増加(ぞうか)が見込(みこ)まれています。

在人口减少的速度变慢的背景下，居日本的外国人则在增加。

 An increase in the number of foreigners is expected in thebackground of the slow decline of the population.

年間(ねんかん)16万(まん)人(にん)ずつ増(ふ)えていく推計(すいけい)となっていますが、受(う)け入(い)れが進(すす)まなければ、人口(じんこう)減少(げんしょう)は、さらに深刻(しんこく)な状況(じょうきょう)になる可能性(かのうせい)もあります。

据推算，人口每年将以16万人的速度增加，但如果不再接收外来人口，日本人口减少可能会更加严重。

It is estimated thatthe population will increase at a rate of 160,000 a year, but the decline inthe population will be even more serious if external population reception is notpemitted.
