We've just agreed one of the biggest trade deals of all time. After months of negotiations, the UK is about to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Trans-Pacific Partnership.

The CPTPP is a trade agreement between 11 dynamic countries like Australia, Canada, Japan, Malaysia and Mexico.

全面与进步跨太平洋伙伴关系协定是澳大利亚、加拿大、日本、马来西亚和墨西哥等11个充满活力的国家之间的贸易协定。

It will help us unlock the benefits of Brexit for people across the UK. And it will give us access to tariff free trade with some of the world's fastest growing economies.

它将帮助我们为全英国人民释放脱欧的益处。它将使我们获得和世界上一些增长最快的经济体进行免关税贸易的机会。

But what does that actually mean for British businesses? Well, take cars for example. Before CPTPP, British car-makers would have paid tariffs of 30% to export their cars to Malaysia.

Now we'll be able to ship far more cars and many other great British products to Malaysia and other CPTPP countries with no extra charges.

Our farmers can benefit as well. CPTPP gives the UK access to economies with a combined GDP of £11 trillion pound and millions of people.

That's an amazing opportunity for British businesses to trade with new markets on the international stage and a huge boost for growth in our economy back home, creating lots and lots of jobs.
