Hey, everybody so today I want to talk about why some of you guys struggle to understand native speakers when they actually talk to you. This can be super frustrating because. A lot of you guys have studied english for a good amount of time. And you can read pretty well and you can write pretty well. But when someone like me comes up to talk to you in real life. You can't underst, and them. This can be super super annoying. And the reason, you guys struggle with this a lot. Is because spoken english. Doesn't look like these beautiful subtitles。It looks like this. Spoken english subtitles look a lot more like this. Isn't this much harder to read. We only pause in between breaths. Not in between each word. So half an hour ago is really half an hour ago。Or what books do you like to read is really what books do you like to read. There's no pauses. That's why it's so hard to understand native english speakers. So when you guys are listening two native speakers。Don't listen for words. Listen for word phrases. A native speaker will never say but you guys. They'll say but you guys they'll never say。What do you want to do today? They'll say what do you want to do today. If you guys can start figuring out what words blend together get stuck together. This can go into your brain and you guys will slowly be able to pick these phrases out and it will be much easier to understand native speakers. When you guys watch a video. With a native english speaker?Watch it once. With the subtitles. Record which words you think get stuck together. Remember them and then watch it a second time without the subtitles cover the subtitles up. And see if you can understand. The speaker figure out which words go together and which words don't. This will help you become a much more fluent listener. Okay that is my suggestion for how to improve your listening skills with native speakers i will see you guys tomorrow bye bye i love you guys?
