The first time I walked the red carpet was for my first film, My Summer of Love, and I looked terrible.

The first time I saw myself on screen was this TV thing I did called Boudica, about Queen Boudica, the warrior queen. And I was covered in blue woad, and I had fur and I think I was terrible in it. I’m sure I was terrible.

The last time I met one of my heroes… was meeting Jane Fonda, who is just an icon. And she was trying to be very nice about A Quiet Place and I interrupted her and just talked about her documentary, and then I think she got a bit frustrated. I think she just wanted to give me a compliment without anything in return.
