【解释】

If you are in love with someone, you feel romantically or sexually attracted to them, and they are very important to you.

【例句】

Judging from his behavior, I dare say that he's in love now.

看他的所作所为，我敢说他现在恋爱了。

They have been madly in love for about two years.

他们已经热恋大约两年了。

I've never really been in love with anyone before.

我之前没有真正和谁谈过恋爱。

fall in love (with sb) at first sight 对某人一见钟情

love at first sight n. 一见钟情

be in love这个表达强调恋爱的状态，而fall in love with sb指的是“爱上某人”，强调瞬间动作
