Now let’slook at some of the best things going on in our town in July.

On July 7th,the first of the Open Air Concerts in the park starts off with music. The funwill start at eight and go on until midnight. The second one will be on the14th.

There willbe some outdoor entertainment with Talk Theatre’s performance of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night from July17th to 20th. Bring an umbrella because this performance takes place whateverthe weather. But please note there will be no performance on the 19th becausethe actors will be in another town on that day!

There areseveral things happening along the river, including a water festival on the24th. A band will sail down the river at around 9 am and will stay on board for their whole performance.All events will take place around the river by Land Bridge and include boattrips, races, music and a children’s camping trip.

Last, if youlike black and white films, you’ll love the all-night film festival. This yearit will be on the 31st and as usual the night will begin at 9 pm and end at 6the following morning. For a change, there will be some drinks and snacksavailable all night instead of until midnight. But be warned, as you know thisis a free event and it’s sometimes cancelled if there’s rain about!
