"Who will go to the music room for me?" asked Mrs. Harvey.

“谁愿意替我去音乐教室一趟？”哈维老师问道。

"I will," Snail said. "This time I will be quick!"

“我愿意。”蜗牛说。“这次我会很快的！”

"Would anyone else like to go?" asked Mrs. Harvey.

“还有人愿意去吗？”哈维老师继续问道。

No one moved.

没有人动。

"Well, Snail, it’s up to you again," said Mrs. Harvey. "Please tell Miss Pink that we are ready for our music lesson, and ask her to bring the instruments. And, Snail," said Mrs. Harvey, "do not get lost, and do not come back with some silly story."

“好吧，蜗牛，又得靠你了。”哈维老师说。“请告诉Miss Pink，我们准备好上音乐课了，告诉她可以带乐器过来了。蜗牛，不要迷路了，回来的时候也不要再跟我说什么荒唐的故事了。”

"Don't worry, Mrs. Harvey," Snail said. "I will come right back."

“哈维老师，不要担心。”蜗牛说。“我马上就回来。”

Snail hurried to the music room.

蜗牛很快到了音乐教室。

"I wonder where Miss Pink is," he said.

“Miss Pink去哪了呢。”蜗牛说道。

Snail waited and waited.

蜗牛等啊等啊。

Finally Snail said, "I cannot wait any longer. I told Mrs. Harvey I would hurry. I will bring the instruments myself."

最后，蜗牛说：“我不能再等了。我告诉过哈维老师我会很快的。我要自己拿乐器。”

Snail tried to lift the drum, but it was too heavy.

蜗牛试着把鼓抬起来，但是太重了。

"What should I do now?" Snail asked.

“我该怎么办呢？”蜗牛问自己。

Snail sat down and picked up a baton.

他坐了下来，拿起了指挥棒。

He tapped the floor with it.

他用指挥棒敲了敲地板。

"Ding, ding," rang the triangle.

“叮叮”，三角铁发出了声音。

Snail pointed at the horn.

蜗牛指了指号。

"Honk, honk," went the horn.

号发出了“轰轰”的声音。

Snail waved the baton at the drum.

蜗牛朝鼓挥了挥指挥棒。

"Boom, boom," went the drum.

鼓就发出了“咚咚”的声音。

Snail was so surprised, he dropped the baton.

蜗牛非常吃惊，把指挥棒掉到了地上。

The instruments ran around the room.

各种乐器在屋子里跑来跑去。

"Boom! Honk! Ding! Pluck!"

“叮！咚！轰！嘭！”

"Oh, no! What have I done?" cried Snail.

“不要啊！我到底做了什么？”蜗牛大叫起来。

Then Snail picked up the baton and waved it.

然后蜗牛捡起了指挥棒挥舞了起来。

"Stop!" he yelled.

“停！”蜗牛吼道。

The instruments stopped running.

所有乐器就都不动了。

"Line up!" ordered Snail.

“列队！”蜗牛命令道。

The instruments lined up.

所有乐器列好了队。

"To Mrs. Harvey's class!" Snail shouted.

”向哈维老师的教室出发！“蜗牛大喊道。

He marched down the hallway.

他大步穿过走廊。

All the instruments followed.

所有的乐器都在后面跟着。

"Stop!" Snail cried, and he opened the classroom door.

“停！”蜗牛喊道，接着打开了教室门。

"Finally," said Mrs. Harvey. "What happened this time, Snail?"

“你终于回来了。”哈维老师说。“蜗牛，这次又发生了什么？

"Miss Pink was not there," Snail said, "and the instruments ran around and around and... "

“Miss Pink不在音乐教室。”蜗牛解释说，“乐器到处跑……”

"Oh, Snail, I have had enough for today," said Mrs. Harvey. "Please go back to your seat."

“蜗牛，我今天受够了。“哈维老师说。“请回到自己的座位上去。”

Just then Miss Pink rushed into the room.

就在那时，Miss Pink 冲进了教室。

"I am sorry I am late," she said. "How did all these instruments get here?"

“非常抱歉，我迟到了。”Miss Pink说。“这些乐器是怎么到这里来的呢？”

"Didn't you bring them?" asked Mrs. Harvey.

“不是您带来的吗？”哈维老师问道。

"No, I did not," said Miss Pink.

“不，不是的。”Miss Pink说。

"Snail," Mrs. Harvey said, "who really brought them?"

“蜗牛，“哈维老师说，”是谁把这些乐器带来的？“

"Well, I picked up the baton," said Snail, "and all the instruments ran..."

“我拿起了指挥棒，”蜗牛说，”所有的乐器就动了起来……”

"Snail," said Mrs. Harvey.

“蜗牛。”哈维老师说。

"Yes, Mrs. Harvey," Snail said.

“是，哈维老师。”蜗牛说。

"Never mind, Snail," she said. "Never mind."

“没什么，蜗牛。”哈维老师说。“没什么。”
