Danny went to camp for the summer.

丹尼去参加夏令营。

He took along his friend the dinosaur.

他带上了他的朋友恐龙。

"Camp is fun. You will enjoy it," said Danny.

“夏令营很好玩，你一定会喜欢的。”丹尼说。

"Thanks. I needed a vacation," said the dinosaur.

“谢谢，我正好需要休假了。”恐龙说。

"Welcome," said the camp owner.

“欢迎，”夏令营组织者说，

"You're the first dinosaur we ever had here."

“你是第一位来参加夏令营的恐龙。”

Lana the leader said, "Let's start with a race.

拉娜领队说：“我们先来赛跑吧。

On your mark, get set, go!"

各就各位，预备，跑！”

The dinosaur took a step.

恐龙跨了一步。

"You win!" shouted Danny.

“你赢了！”丹尼喊道。

The children played football.

孩子们玩橄榄球。

The dinosaur ran with the ball,

恐龙拿着球跑。

and nobody could stop him.

没有人能够阻挡他。

"Touchdown!" shouted Danny.

“触地得分！”丹尼喊道。

Lana took everybody to the lake.

拉娜带着大家去湖边。

"Here is where we row our boats," she said.

“这就是我们划船的地方。”她说。

The children rowed little boats.

孩子们划着小船。

Danny rowed the dinosaur.

而丹尼划着恐龙。

It was time for lunch.

午餐时间到了。

"Please pass the ketchup," said Danny.

“请把番茄酱递给我。”丹尼说。

"Of course, just as soon as I finish this bottle,"

“没问题，只是要等我用完这瓶。”

said the dinosaur.

恐龙说。

After lunch everybody wrote letters home.

午餐后大家都写信回家。

"Please send me my own ketchup," Danny wrote.

“请把我的番茄酱寄过来。”丹尼写道。

"Send me a pizza,"

“请给我寄一份披萨。”

wrote the dinosaur.

恐龙写道。

"Now let's go on a hike," said Lana,

“现在我们去徒步吧。”拉娜说。

and everybody followed her.

所有小朋友都跟着她。

Then Danny got tired and climbed on the dinosaur.

丹尼累了，他爬到恐龙身上。

"Wait for us! We're tired too!" shouted the children.

“等等我们！我们也累了！”孩子们喊道。

"Hold tight," said the dinosaur.

“抓紧了。”恐龙说。

The dinosaur even carried Lana!

恐龙甚至还背上了拉娜！

It got dark.

天黑了。

Everybody sat around the campfire.

每个人都坐在篝火旁边。

Lana gave out toasted marshmallows.

拉娜给大家发烤棉花糖。

"Here, have all you want," she said.

“给，你们想要什么就拿。”她说。

"Thanks, but I don't have room for more," said Danny.

“谢谢，但是我已经吃不下了。”丹尼说。

"I have room," said the dinosaur.

“我还可以。”恐龙说。

It was time for bed.

睡觉时间到了。

"I can't wait to get under the covers," said Danny.

“我已经迫不及待要钻到被窝里了。”丹尼说。

"Me too," said the dinosaur.

“我也是。”恐龙说。

But the dinosaur's bunk was too small for him.

但是恐龙的床铺对他来说太小了。

He took a pillow and went outside.

他拿了枕头走到外面。

"Wake me up for breakfast," said the dinosaur,

“记得叫我起来吃早餐。”恐龙说。

and he fell asleep on the ground.

然后他在草地上很快就睡着了。

"Good night," Danny said.

“晚安。”丹尼说。
