It is summer. It is hot. Some animals like to take a rest in their burrows, like rabbits, rats and foxes. Shade keeps them cool. Some animals don't need much fur, like cats, dogs and wolves. They shed their fur to keep cool. Some animals change color. Arctic foxes turn brown in summer. This helps them sneak up on their prey. Some hares also turn brown. This helps them hide from their enemies.
