Lonely Warrior, the theme song of the film Arcane: League of Legends, came out last November, the lyrics by Tang Tian and the singer Eason Chan.

《孤勇者》是游戏《英雄联盟》衍生动画《英雄联盟：双城之战》的中文主题曲，由唐恬作词，陈奕迅演唱，于2021年11月发布。

This song has become particularly popular among Chinese children, which was unexpected evento the singer. He posted a joke on Weibo and asked, "I heard that I released a nursery rhyme?"

这首歌在小朋友圈当中的火爆程度，连歌手陈奕迅本人都始料未及。他在微博发文调侃问道：“听说我出了首儿歌？”

A kindergarten teacherin Henan set the song as an alarm, and children who were taking a nap woke simultaneously when it began playing. A dentist in Guangdong singsLonely Warrior to a boy to ease his fears. After singing, it was obvious that this boy was no longer afraid. Others filmed short videos of themselves singing the song on the street, and dozens of children spontaneously began singing withthem.

河南一位幼儿园教师别出心裁，把孩子们的午休起床铃换成了《孤勇者》，上一秒还睡得正香，下一秒副歌响起，萌娃们瞬间像是打了鸡血，开始跟唱。在广东，一位医生给治牙小男孩唱《孤勇者》消除恐惧，唱完之后，明显感觉到小男孩不害怕了。还有的人拍摄短视频，录制自己在街上唱这首歌，几十个孩子自发地开始一起唱歌。

So what’s the secret of this song’s success? Not only does it have a moving melody, but also – and more importantly – heart-touching lyrics. It seems that these inspire children, empowering them to overcome difficulties. One child wrote in relation to the song: “Who said heroes can't be ordinary souls？I'll be a man like a lonely warrior and defy life’s storms.”

《孤勇者》到底为什么这么火？因为这首歌不仅有动人的旋律，而且歌词也很感人。这些激励到了小朋友们，使他们能够克服困难。一位小朋友在作文中写道：“我最喜欢的一句歌词就是‘谁说站在光里的才算英雄’，我们都应该像孤勇者一样坚强，不怕任何风雨”。

For lyricist Tang Tian, the song is autobiographical. When she was 29, she was diagnosed with cancer of the nose and larynx. She had a passionate desire to hear Chan, her idol, sing one of her songs. Not only was that desire fulfilled, but Tang also beat the cancer and regained her health. 

对于词作者唐恬来说，这首歌就是她的自传。二十九岁那年，她被诊断为鼻咽癌。她唯一的愿望，就是能够听到偶像陈奕迅唱她写的歌。幸运的是，唐恬不仅实现了这一愿望，病情也渐渐好转，恢复了健康。
