The Chinese mainland users are no longer able to access Yahoo’s e-mail service beginning in March. The company said in an email notice to its users that in light of the increasingly challenging legal environment in China, including new privacy regulations, Yahoo services will no longer be accessible from the Chinese mainland. Yahoo announced last November that users wouldn’t be able to use its products from the Chinese mainland except for a small number of services such as e-mail.
