1月10日起全国铁路实施新列车运行图

A new railway operating schedule introduced on Monday will help increase passenger and freight capacity for the upcoming Spring Festival travel rush. The travel rush is projected to last 40 days from Jan 17 to Feb 25, with about 280 million train trips expected to be made. China State Railway Group, the national rail operator, said the network will operate 10,462 passenger train routes and more than twice that number of freight train services under the new schedule. The rail operator said that it has also improved policies on freight and changing train tickets during the Spring Festival rush. 
2022年1月10日起，全国铁路将实施新的列车运行图。这将有助于提高即将到来的春运期间的客货运输能力。2022年春运将从1月17日开始，到2月25日结束，共40天。全国铁路旅客发送量预计达到2.8亿人次。国铁集团称，调图后，全国铁路旅客列车开行总量达到10462列，货物列车开行总量也将超过之前的两倍。

Ticket services on 12306, a mobile application and website that it runs, will be extended to 1 am, except on Tuesdays. The services open to the public at 5 am each day. Ticket refund services will be available up to the time the train departs from the station. Previously, travelers were only allowed to get ticket refunds up to 25 minutes before the train departed.
国铁集团还改进了火车票购票和退换政策，以更好地方便春运期间的出行。铁路12306网站(含手机客户端)售票服务时间将延长至每日5时至次日凌晨1时(每周二除外)。退票截止时间由原来的开车前25分钟，延长至开车前。

China will accelerate the implementation of major projects outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) for social and economic development with expanded investment, according to a State Council executive meeting chaired by Premier Li Keqiang on Monday. As the Chinese economy is in a crucial period, the country should give higher priority to stabilizing economic growth, continue its strategy of expanding domestic demand, and take targeted steps to boost consumption and investment, according to the meeting. 
国务院总理李克强1月10日主持召开国务院常务会议，部署加快推进”十四五”规划《纲要》和专项规划确定的重大项目，扩大有效投资。会议指出，当前经济运行处于爬坡过坎的关口。要把稳增长放在更加突出的位置，坚定实施扩大内需战略，有针对性扩大最终消费和有效投资。

The country will accordingly ensure the financing, land use and energy supply for critical sectors such as food and energy security, advanced manufacturing and high-tech industries, logistics and telecommunications, and urban government-subsidized housing. The meeting vowed streamlined administrative procedures for ready-to-go projects, in particular major water-conservancy projects, to accelerate the implementation.
会议还指出，要围绕粮食能源安全、先进制造业、交通通信等基础设施、保障性住房等领域建设，做好融资、用地、用能等保障。与此同时，对列入规划、条件具备的项目简化手续，特别是重大水利项目要抓紧实施。

Large-scale cluster of ancient tombs discovered
广西发现7万平米大型古墓群

Archaeologists recently discovered a large-scale cluster of ancient tombs dating back to the Six Dynasties period to the Sui and Tang Dynasties (222-907) in South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Covering an area of 70,000 square meters, the cluster of some 200 tombs is located in Dashugen Village, Fucheng Township of Beihai City. 
考古工作者在广西壮族自治区北海市银海区福成镇古城村委大树根村发现7万平方米古墓葬群，初步调查勘探大树根古墓群约有200座古墓，专家推测该墓葬群的年代约在六朝至隋唐时期。

The most prominent feature of the cluster is that most tomb chambers were constructed with stone pieces, but some tombs were made of brick and stone. Relics including pottery with diversified patterns, ironware and bricks with inscriptions were excavated from the tombs. Experts said that these archaeological discoveries are of great research value.
据介绍，该墓葬群最突出的特征是墓室普遍采用一种俗称”砂轮片”的石片构筑，也有部分墓葬以砖石合构。墓地采集遗物有陶器、瓷器、铁器等类。此外还发现少量”窅亭”铭文砖。专家称该墓葬群具有较高的研究价值。

Autoimmune diseases spread

Autoimmune diseases range from type 1 diabetes to rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease and multiple sclerosis. In each case, the immune system gets its wires crossed and turns on healthy tissue instead of infectious agents. In the UK alone, at least 4 million people have developed such conditions, with some individuals suffering more than one. Internationally, it is now estimated that cases of autoimmune diseases are rising by 3% to 9% a year.

Most scientists believe environmental factors play a key role in this rise. Fast-food diets lack certain important ingredients, such as fiber, and evidence suggests this alteration affects a person’s microbiome – the collection of micro-organisms that we have in our gut and which play a key role in controlling various bodily functions. These changes in our microbiomes are then triggering autoimmune diseases, of which more than 100 types have now been discovered.
