1. ① wishbone 许愿骨

wishbone，是鸟类脖子上形状像Y的一根骨头。吃鸡的时候会吃到。有一个古老风俗，吃到这根骨头时，两个人要比赛，一人一头一起扯，扯到长一点骨头的，就会有好运气，可以许下一个秘密愿望。所以wishbone被叫做“许愿骨”，或“如愿骨”。

这个风俗的历史，已有千年，可上溯到罗马时期。人们用鸡的这根锁骨来占卜，以消灾祛魅。在近代，英国人把这项传统带到新大陆。美国人现在用火鸡来当“许愿骨”。拉扯火鸡锁骨，lucky break，成了一场火鸡大餐上的重头戏。

同时，珠宝公司也设计了大量“许愿骨”的耳环、项链、胸针，给顾客们带来好运，让人们实现自己的愿望。
