What is the most valuable knowledge?

I saw a story recently. It was in the United States in 1890. There was a cocktail party. Mr. Carnegie, then the richest man in the United States, was also included.

Someone introduced a young man to Carnegie. Who? It was Frederick Taylor, the famous management scientist, who invented the Taylor system.

When Carnegie heard this, he said, "young man, if you can tell me something useful about management, I'll give you a check for ten thousand dollars." It was 1890. Ten thousand dollars is not a decimal.

Taylor said, "I would suggest you list 10 most important things to do, and then start with the first one." A week later, Taylor is said to have received a $10000 check from Carnegie.

This story of course has a strong processing color, but after I read it, I still feel a lot.

The most valuable knowledge, in fact, is not the information that we have never heard of, but the information that is easy to do. We can arrange what we already know in order of importance.
