1. To 用于解释原因（后面跟动词）:

- I bought a cake to celebrate his birthday.

  我买了一个蛋糕来庆祝他的生日。

- I am listening to this podcast to improve my English.

 我听这个播客是为了提高我的英语水平。

- He exercises everyday to stay healthy.

  他每天锻炼以保持健康。

2. To 用于行动或方向的改变

- I’m going to school.

我在去上学。

- What do you want to bring to school for lunch today?

- We are going to Los Angeles next month.

- Could you take this to Miss Bee please?

3. To 用于比较

- I prefer fish to chicken.
