China said it would conduct five-year property-tax trials in some regions of the country as Beijing looks for ways to rein in real-estate speculation and distribute wealth more evenly.

中国正寻找道路，控制炒房现象和财富平均分布，部分地区将会开展5年财产税试运行。

The National People's Congress Standing Committee, the country's top legislative body, passed the tax-pilot program on Saturday, the official Xinhua News Agency reported. 

中国官方媒体，新华通讯社报道：中国最高立法机构，全国人民代表大会常务委员会，周六通过税收试行方案。

The State Council is expected to disclose details in the next few months, including which regions this initiative will cover and how the tax rate will be set.

中国国务院预计将在未来数月，公布新规覆盖的地区以及税率如何调整等细节。
