【常识篇】打嗝、放屁、打哈欠…这些动作你天天在做，但可能真的不会说！

A burp is what you might doif you're full. 

如果你吃饱了，就会打嗝。

I guess everyoneburps —  this would include even the Queen herself. There’s no reasonto be overly embarrassed.

我想每个人都会打嗝，甚至女王自己也会打嗝。所以没有理由感到过分尴尬。

He wiped his hand across hismouth, then belched loudly. 

他用手抹了抹嘴，然后打了个响亮的饱嗝。 

A hiccup is what you might get if you eat or drinktoo fast. It's involuntary and most people cure themselves of it by drinkingsome water or holding their breath.

如果你吃或者喝得太快，可能会打嗝。这是不由自主的，大多数人通过喝水或屏住呼吸来停止。

rumble 咕咕叫（肚子），隆隆（雷声）

Her stomach is rumbling all the time when we arerecording. 

我们录音时，她的肚子一直在咕咕叫。

Thunder is rumbling in the distance.

远处雷声隆隆。

sneeze  打喷嚏

When someone sneezes in the United States or theUK, more often than not someone else says “Bless you!”

在美国或英国，当有人打喷嚏时，通常会有人说“上帝保佑你!”。

People used to believe a sneeze caused someone toexpel their soul out of their body, and so “God bless you” or “Bless you” wasused as a protection against the devil snatching your soul.

过去人们相信一个喷嚏会让人把灵魂从身体里驱逐出去，所以人们就用

“Godbless you”(上帝保佑你)

来保护自己不被魔鬼夺走灵魂。
