A:Another weekend again!It's so boring to stay at home.What can we do to kill the time?

又到周末了，待在家里真无聊。我们要做点什么打发时间呢？

B:What about playing cards?

打牌怎么样？

A:Great idea.Take out the cards and let's play.

好主意。把牌拿出来，我们来玩吧。

B:I don't have cards,but Tom does.I'll call him and have him bring a pack over.

我没有牌，但是汤姆有。我打电话叫他带过来一副。

A:In that case,I'll call Mary to join us for the card game.

那样的话，我打电话给马莉，叫她过来跟我们玩牌。

B:Wait.Let me call Tom first.Maybe he'll invite another player over.

等一下，我先打给汤姆，也许他会邀请另外一个玩家。

A:Okay.(Three minutes later)Is Tom coming with his friend?

B:Yes,he's going to bring his cousin,Bill,who's quite good at playing cards.

A:That's great.By the way,I just noticed that we're short of snacks.

B:We had better go buy some chips from the supermarket!How can we play the cards without something to eat!
