J: How’s it going?

N: Good! How are you?

J: Pretty good.

N: You have been busy in your garden recently. You got a lot of work done.

你最近一直在花园里忙，做了很多事情。

J: Yeah, I have been helping my mom clean up some stuff.

N: Is your dad doing all right?

J: He passed away.

N: Oh, I’m so sorry to hear that.

N: How’s your mom? Is she doing ok?

J: She said she felt hollow inside of her. She had some friends coming over and spend time with her. We are also home this week, just to be with her.

她说她感觉里面很空。有一些朋友来陪她。我们这周也都在家，就为了陪她。

N: That’s good. Your dad wasn’t in much pain, was he?

那挺好的。你爸爸不是很痛苦是吧？

J: No, he knew he was coming to the end and that’s why he wanted to come back home.

没有。他知道他要到最后阶段了，所以他想回家。
