故事原文:
“The Wind and the Sun
One morning the wind and the sun entered into a dispute as to which was the strongest of the two. After much discussion, they agreed to a test: whichever could persuade a traveler to take off his cloak first would be considered the more powerful.
The wind began blowing with all of his might, harder, stronger still, so that trees were bent nearly to the ground. But the more he blew, the tighter the traveler clutched his cloak.
Then the sun broke out, his welcome beams clearing the air, and the traveler, feeling warm and relaxed, took off his cloak straightaway. The sun was therefore decided to be the stronger, and since then it has been deemed that persuasion is better than force and that the sun with its mild and congenial approach made far greater gains into a man’s heart than the force of the harsh and merciless wind.
