I’d like to describe an achievement Icelebrated. The achievement was that I got admitted to my dream university,Fudan university. It was really big for me because Fudan is one of the bestuniversities in Shanghai, maybe even in China, and it may be many students’dream to be able to study there. And I think I was just so lucky to be the onewho realized this dream.

Well, it was three days after I got theadmission letter. My parents, grandparents and I went to my favorite restaurantto celebrate it. And I received a big red packet containing 10,000 yuan from mygrandparents. Days later, I also celebrated with two of my best friends; wewent to Shanghai Disneyland. Believe it or not, it was my first trip to thisfamous theme park and it was amazing.

As for why I wanted to celebrate it, well, Ithink anyone would agree that being able to study at Fudan is a big deal by anystandard. I mean who wouldn’t want to share this good news with family andfriends! Besides, I love celebrations. They make me happy and young. I mean Iwouldn’t miss any chance to have fun.

How I felt about it? I felt it was a hugeaccomplishment, one of the most important milestones for me. I mean it could bea life changer. I will be meeting excellent people there and receiving the besteducation and landing a decent job in the future. I’m definitely gonna make myparents proud. But at the same time, I’ll be faced with lots of challenges.Working with the best people wouldn’t be so easy, and I believe that there’llbe a lot of competition there. But I’m confident I’ll survive.
