China's women's national team punched their ticket for Tokyo 2020 with a dramatic draw against South Korea to become the last Asian team to qualify for the delayed Olympics and the nation congratulated them.

Their success was a trending topic on Chinese social media, accounting for 11 of the top 50 search terms on Weibo, with some of China's biggest celebrities among those to congratulate the team.

Actor Deng Chao and singer Han Hong both posted on their personal Weibo accounts.
