Episode88：Toad Can Stay

“Rat? Mole? Badger?” Toad called.

He listened in the dark. There was no answer.

“This tunnel is so cold and small,” said Toad.

Toad heard something scratching nearby.

“Ahh!” he cried.

Toad ran wildly through the dark. He bumped into an animal with a sword.

“Hey!” said Rat.  Rat stumbled into Mole.

“Ow!” said Mole. Mole bumped into Badger.

“Look out!” yelled Badger. “I think we’re being attacked!”

“It’s only me!” cried Toad.

“Toad!” said Badger. “You must go back!”

“Oh please, Badger!” cried Toad.

“Let him stay,” said Rat. “I’ll take care of him.”

They set off again. Rat kept his hang on Toad’s shoulder. They hurried forward in silence. Suddenly they heard voices.

“We’re under the hall,” said Badger.

They heard stamping and clapping. Voices shouted,” Hooray! Hooray! Weasels are the best!”

Glasses clinked and fists pounded.

“I’ll bet they’re breaking my dishes!” said Toad.

“Come on,” said Badger.

And they hurried along.
