Food: 

很general的词；任何可以吃的东西；大部分是单数
“I ate a lot of food (not foods) last night.

What’s your favorite food?
Let’s go get some food.

Dish : 

2种意思

第一种，dish是用来装food的

它是（plates, bowls, pots, pans, spoons, forks, etc.）的代表词

经常说：

 I'm doing the dishes. 洗碗。 

还有一种就是

 one prepared item of food （一道菜）

This dish is tasty. 
The dish smells good. 

Meal  餐 

three meals a day; 一日三餐
one meal 里面有很多道 dishes. 

Lunch is his main meal of the day.
Have a simple meal 吃个便餐
brush their teeth after every meal 饭后刷牙

Cuisine/kwɪˈziːn/ 

比food更正式一些：
 “一个国家、地区、文化的烹饪方式”，是不可数名词。

比如：French cuisine 法式烹饪
中国八大菜系。

These eight culinary cuisines are Anhui, Cantonese, Fujian, Hunan, Jiangsu, Shandong, Szechuan and Zhejiang.

 (Italian cuisine, Brazilian cuisine, chinese cuisine)
 This restaurant serves authentic French cuisine.
