It was November 22, 2020 at around 1pm in a restaurant called Nighttown. This restaurant was about to close voluntarily due to COVID-19. A customer walked in and ordered a beer for $7. He then asked for his check and paid with his credit card. Before he left, he wished the owner well and told him to share the tip with the four employees who were working brunch service. As the man walked out, the owner looked down at the tip and realized he left a whopping $3,000. The owner thought there must have been a mistake and so quickly ran to that man. Guess what？ That man said “no mistake and we will see you when you reopen!” The owner and the employees were all “humbly grateful for this incredibly kind and grand gesture.”
