古希腊人的7种爱情

According to the ancient greeks, there were 7 types of love. Each with it's own importance and value. If you're lucky enough to experience every kind, you will live a truly rich life.

古希腊人认为，爱一共有7种，每一种都有其重要性和价值。如果你足够幸运，能够体验到每一种爱，你会过上真正充实的生活。

1. Eros: Burning passion

Eros was the Greek God of attraction and sexual desire. Eros is defined as divine beauty or lust. Eros is the most intense type of love, often associated with youth, or our first great romance.

第一种爱是Eros，它是燃烧的热忱。Eros是希腊众神中吸引力和欲望的代表。人们认为，Eros是圣洁的美，是神圣的欲望。Eros是最强烈的爱，经常与青春或初恋联系在一起。

Eros is formed mainly from lust or sexual attraction. The Greeks feared this kind of love the most because it was dangerous, its power could destroy you. 

Eros这种爱，通常来源于欲望，或性吸引力。希腊人最惧怕这种爱，因为它很危险，它的力量能摧毁人们。

2. Philia: Shared goodwill 

Also known as brotherly love, Philia represents a sincere and platonic love. The kind of love you have for your sibling or a best friend. It was more valuable and more cherished than Eros as Philia has to the power to build empires from the ground up. 

第二种爱是Philia，它是相互友爱。Philia常常代表着兄弟情义，真诚的、柏拉图式的爱。你对姐妹兄弟们的爱，你对你朋友的爱，就是Philia。它比Eros更珍贵，更受重视，因为Philia的力量能够建造一个国家。

Philia exists where people share a great understanding and respect combined with similar values and disposition.

当人们相互理解，相互尊重，并且有类似的价值观和性情时，Philia这种爱就会存在。
