最近和我初中的闺蜜Cecilia重新联系上了。她是一个非常聪明，学习和工作都很努力的女生。我们在初中毕业之后去了不同的高中，而且我们搬家之后也住得很远，所以渐渐断了联系。上周，她告诉我她搬到了我所在的城市工作了，所以想约我吃饭。我欣然赴约。这次会面非常令人愉快，我们分享了很多回忆，交换了最新的生活状态。我们会继续做好闺蜜的。

I recently reconnected with my best friend from junior high, Cecilia. Cecilia is a smart girl who studies and works very hard. Also, she has good taste in fashion, so she always gave me good fashion advice. We lived near each other so we always went to school together by bus.

However, after we graduated from junior high school, we went to different high schools. What’s more, we both moved houses, so we were far away from each other. Gradually,we lost touch (我们失去了联络). We greeted each other during the Spring Festival, the New Year, and our birthdays, but we did not catch up as frequently as before, but we both knew that we were still friends.

Last week, she told me that she hadgraduated with a master’s degree（硕士毕业） and moved to work in Shanghai, where I currently live. She had justsettled in（安顿下来）and wanted to ask me out for dinner. Of course, I was glad to go! It was really exciting meeting an old friend after all these years and it was a very pleasant meeting and dinner. We enjoyed delicious Italian food, shared many memories and exchanged all our latest news. Also, I found out that we share similar hobbies, like painting and dancing, so now we can hang out more during weekends. We believe that since we are now living in the same city, we will continue being best friends just like before!
