Vroom!

It was spring.

春天到了。

Toad was asleep under a tree.

蟾蜍正在一棵树下睡觉。

He opened one big eye.

他睁开了一只大大的眼睛。

He opened two big eyes.

他睁开了两只大大的眼睛。

“Come on ,”said Frog.“It ‘s spring.It’s time to go to the pond.”

“春天到啦，我们该去池塘了。走吧！”青蛙说。

Frog hopped along the path.

青蛙沿着小径跳呀跳。

Toad crawled along the path.

蟾蜍沿着小径爬呀爬。

They came to the road.

他们来到了马路边。

Frog looked this way.

青蛙朝这边看看，

He looked that way and he hopped across the road.

又朝那边看看，然后跳过了马路。

“Come on,Toad,”said Frog.

“来吧，蟾蜍。”青蛙说。

Toad crawled on to the road.

蟾蜍爬上马路。

“Look out! “said Frog.“It’s a bicycle!”

“小心！有一辆自行车！”青蛙说。

The bicycle zoomed down the road .

自行车在马路上飞快地驶过。

“That was scary!” said Toad.

“太可怕了！”蟾蜍说。

“Come on,Toad,”said Frog.

“来吧，蟾蜍。”青蛙说。

Toad crawled on the road.

蟾蜍继续在马路上爬。

“Look out!”said Frog.“It ‘s a car!”

“小心！有一辆小汽车！”青蛙说

The car zoomed down the road.

小车在马路上飞快地驶过。

“That was very scary!”said Toad.

“太可怕了！”蟾蜍说。

Toad crawled on the road.

蟾蜍继续在马路上爬。

Toad closed his eyes tight.

蟾蜍紧紧闭上了眼睛。

“THIS IS THE END!”he thought.

“这次死定了！”他想。

A woman got out of the van.

一个女人从货车上下来了。

She picked up Toad.

她兜起了蟾蜍。

“Now you can go to the pond,”she said.

“现在你可以去池塘了。”她说。

Toad crawled to the pond.

蟾蜍朝池塘爬去。

“Come on,Toad,”said Frog.“It’s lovely in here!”

“快点，蟾蜍。这儿真美！”青蛙说。
