[定义]

国际电信联盟标准委员会ITU Y.4464首次明确提出BoT(Blockchain of Things)的概念，在IoT参考模型上增加了区块链能力，并详细描述了基于区块链的分布式物联网业务平台的特征、通用能力、通用流程。对物联网终端、网关、平台等物联网设备如何采用区块链技术来协同提供物联网应用，提出了建设性思路和实现方法。

Blockchain of things (BoT): An Internet of things (IoT) service platform with a decentralized working mode where IoT applications and services are executed. 

NOTE :  

BoT uses blockchain-related technologies (such as peer to peer communication, decentralized data storage, crowding consensus and transaction) to support a decentralized working mode.
