Before leaving college, my son began to seek a job. He aimed at a famous company, but the competition was ever-fierce. It intended to employ only one person while there were more than twenty applicants. Fortunately, he was among the only three people for the final interview. The interview was very simple, during which the interviewer only talked with them for a while. Then the interviewer said to them：“All of you are very good. Please go home and wait for our response. ” Three days later, my son received a massage saying that he was not offered the job. My son felt deeply disappointed. But later in the evening my son told me that he had received another massage saying that he had been employed.

大学毕业前夕，我儿子开始找工作。他想进一家知名公司，但是竞争异常激烈。公司只打算招收一人，却有二十多人递交了申请。幸运的是，他是入围最后阶段面试的三个人之一。面试其实很简单，考官只不过与他们交谈几句，就对他们说：“你们几个人表现都不错。请回家等我们的回复吧。”三天后，我儿子收到了一条短信，告知他落选了，这让他感到非常失望。但当天晚上儿子告诉我他又收到了另一条短信，说他已经被公司聘用了。

In fact, the first message sent to my son was also part of the test in the interview. All the three men received the same text, but only my son’s reply satisfied the company. Of the three, one did not reply. The other said “goodbye” and my son said “thank you”, so he was offered the job.

其实，儿子收到的第一条短信也是测试的内容之一。三个人收到了同一条短信，但只有我儿子的答复令公司满意。这三人中，其中一人根本就没有回复。另一人回复说“再见”，我儿子的回复是“谢谢”，他因此得到了这份工作。
