The towel that was draped over the shoulders of Kobe Bryant during his farewell speech following his final NBA game sold for over $33,000 at an online auction on Sunday.

The Lakers star ended his speech at Staples Center in Los Angeles with his trademark "Mamba Out" before walking off the court. A fan grabbed the towel, beginning a stretch in which that souvenir has been sold multiple times.

Bryant, 41, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven other people perished in a helicopter crash on Jan 26 in Calabasas, California.

The number of museums opening on Tmall, an e-commerce platform under Alibaba Group, is increasing as the novel coronavirus outbreak has forced many of them to close. Some 28 museums, including the British Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Palace Museum, the National Museum of China, and the Summer Palace, have opened on Tmall. The much anticipated Louvre is also on the way to Tmall. 

新冠肺炎病毒疫情导致全球许多博物馆被迫关闭，而在阿里巴巴集团旗下电商平台天猫上开馆的博物馆却越来越多。包括大英博物馆、大都会艺术博物馆、故宫博物院、中国国家博物馆、颐和园在内的28家博物馆已入驻天猫。备受期待的卢浮宫也已经在入驻天猫的路上。

In January 2019, Tmall launched the "new cultural and creative plan" to help museums promote their cultural and creative IPs. The British Museum, the first overseas museum to open on Tmall, saw its annual sales of cultural products grow more than 2.5 times since it opened on the platform.

The national college entrance examination, or gaokao, will be postponed for a month to July 7 and 8 due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, the Ministry of Education said in a notice on Tuesday. 

教育部3月31日发布通知称，由于新冠肺炎疫情暴发，全国高考考试时间将推迟一个月，至7月7日至8日举行。

Because of the epidemic situation, authorities in Hubei province and Beijing can come up with their own suggestions on gaokao dates, which will be published after consulting with the ministry, it said. Wang Hui, director of the ministry's Department of College Students Affairs, said the postponement is mainly to ensure students' safety and the fairness of the exam. 

介于疫情防控形势，湖北省、北京市有关部门可研究提出本地区高考日期安排的意见，商教育部同意后及时向社会发布。教育部高校学生司司长王辉表示，高考延期主要为保证学生安全和考试公平。

More than 10.7 million students have signed up to participate in this year's gaokao, up by 400,000 from last year, Wang said. The ministry will also postpone student admissions and the new fall semester for a month, he added.

今年高考报名人数逾1070万，比去年增加40万。教育部还将把学生招录及秋季新学期开学时间推迟一个月。

The willingness among Chinese to travel to popular tourist sites has shown signs of recovery, as the novel coronavirus epidemic continues to abate domestically. 

随着国内新冠肺炎疫情形势持续向好，国人到热门旅游景点旅游的意愿已显示出复苏的迹象。

Data from Fliggy, Alibaba's online travel service provider, show a recovery in travel plans for the upcoming Tomb Sweeping Day holiday (April 4-6). From March 17-23, bookings for train tickets and scenic areas surged by over 100% and hotel reservations rose by roughly 30% compared with the previous week. 

阿里巴巴旗下在线旅游服务提供商飞猪的数据显示，即将到来的清明节假期(4月4日-6日)旅游预订量回暖。3月17日至23日，火车票和景区的预订量较1周前增长超100%，酒店预订量增长约30%。

Currently, 3,700 A-level tourist sites have resumed operations nationwide. Industry research suggests the desire to travel during the Labor Day holiday - which has been extended to five days (May 1-5) this year - will be even stronger.

According to Tongcheng-Elong, a major online travel platform, a surge in interest to visit popular tourist sites was seen based on searches for air tickets, train tickets, accommodations and scenic spot tickets during the holiday in early May. "If the situation of the domestic epidemic continues to improve, the public holiday in May will become the first tourism peak since the beginning of 2020," according to the report by Tongcheng-Elong.
