Chinese e-commerce group Alibaba announced a sweeping restructuring of its media and entertainment assets, which include Youku Tudou, UCWeb and Alibaba Pictures Group as well as sports, games and music firms. 

The overhaul includes the creation of a new digital-media group and a 10bn yuan fund for new projects.
