The most important thing I learned is that what happens in the Arctic doesn’t stay in the Arctic. It affects us all. And for the first time in 20 years, the Norwegian government is opening up a new oil frontier in the melting Arctic, putting our families and their homes in extreme danger.我了解到最重要的是，北极正在发生的事情不会停留在北极，它影响到我们所有人。挪威政府20年来首次在冰雪消融的北极地区开辟了新的石油边界，使我们的人民和家园处于极端危险之中。
They know that burning oil causes climate change. They know there’s already more oil than we can afford to burn. And they know burning oil fuels the extreme weather that causes such immense suffering around the world.他们知道燃烧石油会导致气候变化；他们知道已经有足够多的石油供我们燃烧；他们知道燃烧石油助长了极端天气，从而在世界范围内造成了巨大的痛苦。
Knowing all this, how can new Arctic oil drilling even be legal? Well, I believe it it not. I think drilling for oil in the Arctic is not only deeply immoral, but would also violate the Norwegian constitution that clearly says that the State shall ensure future generations, your kids, my kids, the right to a safe and healthy environment.了解了这一切，新建的北极石油钻探怎么会合法呢？我相信是的。我认为在北极开采石油不仅不道德，而且违反挪威宪法，该宪法明确规定国家应确保子孙后代，您的孩子，我的孩子享有安全和健康环境的权利。
We are set to prove this to the Oslo District Court in November. When governments put oil before people, they need to be held accountable. This is why we are taking Arctic oil to court. Hundreds and thousands of people have added their names to support this case. Join us.
